Our mission: Making Lake Life Fun and Easy.
Michael Helm moved to Richmond Lake in 1996, with his wife Fallon, and children Chandler and Iszabell. While searching for ways to make lake living easier and more enjoyable, he came across Minnesota-based FLOE docks and lifts. He was so impressed with the product that in 2012 he became a dealer, so that he could help others experience the same freedom and enjoyment his family does.
In just a few short years Michael’s business has expand rapidly, due to great products and exceptional service. Located on North Shore Drive on Richmond Lake, Helm Marine now offers Premier Pontoons, Yarcraft boats, BassCat boats, Mercury, Evinrude and Full Service on all products by our trained technicians.
Over the years Michael has seen many people sell their lake homes due to the hassle of maintaining old equipment, only to regret it later. Michael and his family know lake life does not need to be stressful. Let Helm Marine provide the equipment and service to make lake living fun, easy, and hassle-free!
Michael worked as a Farm Manager for more than two decades. His vision for the marine business grew quickly as he noticed everyone on Richmond Lake had the same fishing docks and was looking for something different. Helm Marine grew faster than Michael could ever anticipate, starting out using a single storage unit, quickly grew to two storage units and then all of a sudden taking over the whole storage facility happened. Michael has an extreme passion for the outdoors and getting everyone surrounding him to see the beauty and happiness that hunting and fishing has brought into his life. He enjoys sponsoring fishing tournaments, spending time with his wife, Fallon, and 2 children, Chandler and Iszabell.
